Clean Classic

“I know you’re known for your use of color, but I don’t like color at all.” This statement kicked off one of the most rewarding projects I’ve ever worked on. It was a ground-up build for a fantastic young professional couple that I had the chance to design inside and out alongside a favorite builder and an incredible team. When the team is great, the project is great—and this chance to create a home for this family was an amazing experience from start to finish.

The home became a masterclass in tone-on-tone understatement, paired with dramatic contrasts. We played with intense texture alongside smooth finishes, matte against shine, and a striking mix of black and white, light and dark. The focus was on comfort, cleanability, effortless entertaining—and of course, no color!
